Global School Partner's program in Australian schools has proven to be extremely beneficial to the Australian donor students as they gain an understanding of the life and culture of the students at their partner school, a realisation that they can make a difference to the lives of others and that at the core we are all human with similar hopes and dreams, despite our varying circumstances.

As Assistant Principal of Sacred Heart Primary School, Pearce, ACT, I have had association with Global School Partners for the past four years when our school community decided to support another school in Kenya through Global School Partners. The students at Sacred Heart have benefited greatly from their partnership with Takima Academy in Kenya, as they have been able to see in a very real and tangible way, how their fund raising outreach projects have made a difference to the lives of other children who are disadvantaged.
