New Curriculum textbooks
Kenyan Curriculum changes means new textbooks are required
The 2018 curriculum change in Kenya has meant that every school needs new textbooks and teacher’s guides. The new curriculum launched affecting students up to Year 3 and now adds on a Year level each calendar year until all classes are teaching the new curriculum.
This change has left GSP Kenya schools desperately needing new textbooks and teaching resources to continue to provide an education to the students in their schools. Without textbooks and teaching guides, the students will be unprepared for their yearly exams and Standard 8 exams, which determine whether and which school a student can attend for Secondary School. GSP’s goal is to see each student that attends its schools complete their Primary and Secondary educations to give these students the best chance to break the poverty cycle.
Help us give our children the right textBooks
GSP has a target of providing textbooks to each new class level as aligned with curriculum changes.
It also means new sets of textbooks for new schools as they are partnered.
