To become a Kenyan Partner School
Global School Partners operates in Kisii and Nyamira Counties in Kenya and will currently only consider schools from these two Counties.
The process of nomination:
Contact the relevant GSP-KC County Chairperson to discuss your school and situation. The Chairperson will ask you a series of questions to establish your eligibility to become a member, such as but not limited to:
When did you start your school - it must have been operating for at least 2 years?
Is the school registered or have provisional registration with the Department of Education - this is mandatory?
How many students, teachers and classrooms does the school have currently?
Contact details:
In Nyamira County - GSP-KC Nyamira Chairperson Samwel Marienga email: samwelmarienga@gmail.comIn Kisii County - GSP-KC Kisii Chairperson Peter Arasa email: arasapeter1@gmail.com
If eligible - The relevant County Committee will make a time to visit your school and prepare a report for the Global School Partners CEO.
If the County Committee believes that your school is worthy of recommending, they will send their report to the Global School Partners CEO.
The County Committee will then place your school on the waiting list.
The Global School Partners CEO will visit schools at the top of each County’s waiting list when next in Kenya to undertake an assessment and verify that you will agree to sign the Memorandum of Understanding and all other relevant documents, should you be partnered in the future.
Once approved for partnership by the CEO, the CEO will then seek a school in Australia to partner with your school.
Please note: This process must be followed and can take many months or even years, so your patience is appreciated. Please do not contact the Global School Partners CEO directly.
